Language School Worldwide, S.L. (LSW)
Conditions and Registration Process

Language School Worldwide, S.L. (LSW) is an independent agent for ILA, and is authorized to promote and manage student registration for courses offered by that school.

Governing Law and Rules

The registration process will be subject to these conditions as governed by the laws of Spain, especially Law 26/1984: The Consumer and User Defense Act, passed July 19, 1984; and Law 34/2002: The Information Society and Electronic Commerce Services Act, passed July 11, 2002.

Presentation of the course and the delivery of all other contracted services will be governed by the school's own rules and the laws and customs of the country in which the course is held. In particular, they are governed by the conditions stipulated by the school in "ILA Terms and Conditions."

Registration Process

a) Application.- The registration process begins when the student applies for the course by submitting the form below through this web page. It must be completed properly, as indicated in the instructions on the form.

b) Provisional Confirmation.- LSW will send the student a provisional confirmation of registration via e-mail, indicating the cost of the course and any supplemental items selected by the student. In addition, this provisional confirmation will indicate whether the student will need a visa to enter and remain in the school's country for the required period of time.
Provisional confirmation does not guarantee a reserved place in the course.
If the information on the web page contains any error, LSW may notify the student, who may then choose whether or not to continue the registration process.

c) Payment.- After receiving provisional confirmation, the student must pay a 300 euro deposit except in the following two cases:
1. If less than six weeks remain before the first day of the course, the student must remit full payment for the course and all supplemental items.
2. If a visa is needed, the student must also remit full payment for the course and all supplemental items. The school will send the student a letter of invitation to the course, needed when applying for a visa through the consulate or embassy of the country in which the school is located.
The appropriate payment must be made within ten working days after receiving provisional confirmation.
LSW reserves the right to cancel the registration if payment is not made on time.
Fees for the course and all other selected items, minus the amount of the deposit, must be paid at least three weeks before the first day of the requested course. LSW will acknowledge receipt by e-mail.
Non-payment of any sum will result in cancellation of registration.

d) Final Confirmation.- Once the deposit or full amount is paid, LSW will contact the student by e-mail to confirm the sum received and provide final confirmation of registration.
If the reservation cannot be completed because the requested course and housing are unavailable, then the registration will be canceled and any payment received will be refunded.

Minors

Underage students must submit written authorization from a parent or legal guardian through completion of the permission form that will arrive with the provisional confirmation. The signature on the form must be authenticated by a bank or notary, and the form must be returned to LSW's mailing address.

Cancellation

If the student or school cancels the registration, the cancellation will be governed by the applicable rules established by the school.

Data Protection

The student's personal data, supplied by the student as part of the registration and contracting process for the course, will be used exclusively for that purpose. To that end, this data will be kept in a file of necessary information as set forth and required by regulations affecting the protection of personal data. The student may exercise the right to access, correct, cancel, or challenge the recorded personal data at any time.
