ILA offers year round every week a minimum of 4 attractive cultural or social activities as well as excursions. The school's program offers visits of Montpellier, cultural visits to museums and theatres, wine and cheese tasting, social evenings, welcome and farewell parties, as well as excursions to the highlights of the region.
The whole activity and excursion program is accompanied by ILA's enthusiastic, specially trained teacher team.
Visits of Montpellier
Guided tour of the historic center. Visit to private mansion houses; guided tour of Antigone (new city). Visit the gardens and parks in Montpellier. Visit Chateau Flaugergues. Visit to different museums etc.
Social events/ tasting
Wine tasting, cheese tasting, welcome and farewell parties, dinner in French restaurants, wine bars etc.
Excursions
Provence, Camargue incl. horse back riding, Avignon, Pont du Gard, Carcassonne, Nimes, Uzes, Aix-en Provence etc.
All activities and excursions are to be booked locally at ILA. You will always be informed about the program two weeks in advance. In order to allow you to participate in numerous activities / excursions, the school applies very moderate prices. All guided tours of Montpellier are free of charge. For all visits to museums, restaurants, bars etc. students pay their own entrance fee. Half day excursions are around 15 €, full day around 25 €.
Additionally to ILA's program, there are many possibilities of visits, sports (incl. all water sports) excursions and other activities in and around Montpellier.
